Working in the events industry during the COVID-19 crisis has been very tough with mass redundancies and a lack of support from the government. New Model Army (NMA), an event industry initiative has tried to support candidates through this tough time.
With the vaccination process in full flow, we are moving towards the events industry opening up again and clients needing to staff up quickly, whether that is with staff needed on the run up to an event, for a contract period, on-site or for a permanent role.
New Model Army would like to place the candidates who have been made redundant and looking for a role back in the industry, in the forefront of the clients’ mind when recruiting for these roles.
We have set up New Model Army Recruitment, to collate as many candidates as possible from the industry who are looking for work, in one place in an easy to search database for clients to search and contact about work.

You will need to complete a registration form with details of your skills, experience, salary and location for clients to search, as well as adding a CV (without contact details). You even have a chance to include a link to a short YouTube video, so that they can see you in person and get a feel for your personality.
The more information you include on the registration page, the more likely you are to be found!
We will withhold your contact details from the client until we know they have a serious interest in your experience for a specific role. Only then will they be given your contact details by us to contact you directly. We will let you know when there has been some interest, so that you can check your emails for correspondence form the client.
